History of Gallatin Electric:
In 1977, Richard Schmidt received his master electricians license and began Gallatin Electric in his garage. The company grew tremendously in the next seven years expanding into a full service electrical shop. In 2002 Gallatin Electric incorporated and purchased land in Belgrade where it is currently located on Bartz Lane. Gallatin Electric has been a family owned company for 28 years and takes great pride in their growth and contributions to the Gallatin Valley and surrounding areas. We look forward to many more years of serving the people and businesses in the area.
